16 August 2022: WALKING IN THE BIBLE HOPE (1) – Romans 4:18; Psalm 31:24; Psalm 22:9

The life of Abraham is a good example to study in navigating through life because many times, his story reflects our experiences, situations, and circumstances. Abraham started from scratch and became all that God wanted him to become. His life gives us such encouragement that no matter what our state in life is, with God, we can make it. You can look at your life now, and the devil may have written you off. You may have even written yourself off, but the good news is that you can look at Abraham and say, “It will not end like this”.

Take a step of faith and speak against whatever is confronting you and declare, “The God of Abraham is my God. It won’t end like this; it is going to get better”.

Too many people want to tell you about somebody that failed. The devil can place a lot of people around you who will tell you how they know somebody who tried to believe God for healing but died; another person who went into full-time ministry and failed, and even somebody that tried marriage and business but failed. However, God tells you about the people who succeeded, and He does not want you to follow the examples of those who failed.

You may even know many who tried to believe in God but failed. Their failure was not from God. They might have failed on their part somewhere but that should not stop you from believing in God. Don’t keep your mind on the testimonies of failure. Look at those who obtained the promises of God the right way by walking in Abraham’s kind of faith and patience.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to rise above every challenge confronting me. With God, I will rise and prosper! With God, I will go forward in Jesus’ name. Amen!
