Today we will consider how to walk in divine provision for healing and health.
1. Avoid breaking the hedge of God’s immunity around you, or else sickness will begin to attack your body. The plan of God for you is not to fall sick, and you can achieve this by keeping the hedge of divine immunity around you. Once you get involved in sin, sickness and disease can set into your body (Eccl 10:8).
2. Give attention to the word of God concerning your healing.
You must hear the word of God if you are going to stay healthy.
3. Incline your ears to the sayings of God concerning your healing and health. This will remind you of what God has said concerning your healing and health, and it keeps the hedge of divine immunity around you stronger. This means you will have to avoid negative statements that are flying around you. When somebody is sick or there is a disease in town, all kinds of statements fly around. Don’t follow such statements.
4. Don’t let the word depart from your eyes: Keep them before your eyes. That includes watching the preaching of the word on television, watching genuine Bible stories on video, listening to messages on handheld devices. Keep them before your eyes; let them enter your heart.
5. Avoid a froward mouth and perverse lips: What you say will give you either health and healing or give you disease and sickness. Learn to say that God is your healer. Learn to use your words to promote healing and health in your life and around you. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, and it spreads healing around (Proverbs 15:4).
