Many times, we tend to believe the doctor’s report and struggle to believe God’s Word. Your feeling may contradict what the doctor is telling you, but you accept the doctor’s conclusion. You should be able to say, “According to the word of God, despite the fact that I am feeling this way, the word of God tells me by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed”. Just as you have no physical, observable evidence, the doctor also has no such evidence. Most people judge the education of a doctor as a legitimate basis to believe what he says but find it difficult to extend the same thinking, to judge the divinity of God as a legitimate basis to take Him at His word. The education of the fallible doctor cannot equal the divinity of God Almighty!
The Bible is more accurate than any doctor’s stethoscope. The Bible is more current and more precise than any report or research finding. Whose report will you believe? Many choose to believe the reports of men that are as fallible as they are, but doubt the report of the Almighty God that is infallible.
The things which are seen are temporal and the word “temporal” simply means “subject to change”. The only proof that anything will not last long is that you can relate with it from a natural standpoint with your senses. God has given everyone the power to change things the way they want them. If you don’t change it, the outcome will be what you don’t want. What choice are you making today?
PRAYER: Lord, I make the decision today to change the things I don’t want around me by the power in your Word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
