Praying in the Spirit helps you in such a way that whenever life throws a question at you, and you pray in the Spirit, it is like going to where you have stored the information and retrieving it.
God has answers to every life situation, and the answer is in the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible, “But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things” (I John 2:20). The way to bring the answer to the question that life throws at you is by speaking in tongues. It is like looking for something, and somebody asks, ‘Are you sure?’, and you maintain, ‘Oh I am sure I kept it here; just give me some time. I am going to find it’. And you keep looking and pulling things up until you find it because you are sure you put it there.
As a Christian, God made you a speaking spirit.
Thus, whenever you face a situation in life that you cannot handle by your experience, then it is time to go into the place where the answer is. And what do you do? You start speaking in tongues. Praying in tongues is like dipping a bucket into the well of God for life.
Whatever it is you are faced with, once you start speaking in tongues, know that the answer is somewhere. Even if you do not know how long it is going to take you to find the answer, keep praying; it will come up on the surface.
