God instructed the children of Israel when they were moving to the Promised Land that “you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.” (Deut. 17:15) It is an aberration in the economy of heaven for a Christian, born again, spirit-filled to sit under a pastor that is not born again.
For a believer to be praying for the salvation of his so-called spiritual father or pastor is spiritual insanity. That means the pastor is a plastic joint. There is nothing flowing from the Head (Jesus Christ) that’s flowing through that person to you as a member. As soon as you get into the revelation that you are born again and your pastor is not born again, get out from under him and find where you should be pastored. It simply shows that you got into membership there naturally, traditionally or ancestrally, and you should find out what exactly God’s programme is for you.
When God calls a man to member a church, he is also called to embrace the structure in that church. That is why no minister should copy the structure of another. God gives the “how” of structure to the head.
For example, I don’t have to worry myself about what is happening in another ministry. That is very important because accuracy is one of the first things that God works in our lives after we become born again. God begins to work on every area of error through addition or subtraction so that you can get into accuracy.
PRAYER: Father, I embrace the structure of the church you have planted me. Help me to grow in accuracy daily in Jesus’ name.
