Listen while praying, commuting, or preparing for the day. There is a critical transition every believer must make if his faith will become stable and productive, and that is the movement from believing to knowing. Many people are still operating at the level of “I believe God can do it,” but they have not yet come to the place of “I know He has done it.” The Bible speaks of believers who endured afflictions because they had a knowing in themselves. That kind of knowing is not borrowed; it is personal. You cannot build your faith on what another man knows. It can inspire you, but it must become your own revelation. Until truth becomes personal to you, your faith will remain unstable when pressure comes.
This is why experience with God is so important. When David faced Goliath, he was not trying to experiment with God; he already knew Him. He had seen God deliver him from the lion and the bear, so his confidence was rooted in knowledge, not assumption. Others on the battlefield had information about God, but they did not have personal conviction. That is the difference between weak faith and strong faith. When you only believe, you can still be shaken; but when you know, you become established. Knowledge gives your faith backbone. It produces a quiet confidence that does not panic when circumstances change.
So, press into God until what you believe becomes what you know. Spend time in the Word until it moves from your head into your spirit. Walk with God in such a way that you begin to experience His faithfulness personally. When you pray, expect answers; not because someone said so, but because you know He hears you. When challenges arise, stand your ground; not because you are trying to be strong, but because you are convinced. That is the level God wants you to operate from. Faith that produces results is not guesswork; it is built on knowing. When you know God, you will stand firm, and your life will reflect that certainty.
THOUGHT TO PONDER
Am I still operating at the level of belief, or have I come into personal knowing? What truth must become my own revelation for my faith to grow stronger?
PRAYER
Father, take me deeper in my walk with You. Move me from believing into knowing, and establish my faith in undeniable truth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
