Every believer must recognise that the primary reason God created the human spirit is for communion and fellowship with Him. Your spirit man is the real you, capable of intimate relationship with God. It is your spirit that God communicates with directly, revealing His purposes and intentions to you.

Genesis reveals that man was created in God’s image and likeness—primarily a spirit being. This truth underscores the importance of nurturing our spirit above everything else. When Adam sinned, spiritual death occurred, severing direct communion with God. Salvation in Christ restores that connection, enabling your spirit to experience fellowship with the Father again.

Your spiritual life requires careful attention and deliberate cultivation. Just as neglecting the physical body leads to weakness, neglecting your spiritual life leads to spiritual weakness and vulnerability.

Feeding your spirit with the Word, prayer, and consistent fellowship with God strengthens your spiritual senses and positions you to hear Him clearly.

Believers who prioritize their spirit life become spiritually sensitive and effective. They recognize God’s voice and leading, live victorious lives, and influence others positively. Strengthening your spirit man is not optional—it is essential for your destiny fulfilment and spiritual effectiveness.
