13 December 2024: UNDERSTANDING THE IMPACTS OF ANCESTRAL FLOWS IN MARRIAGE – Jeremiah 50:4-5, Ephesians 5:31-32

One of the most critical questions you must confront in marriage is, “Who are you joined to?” The individuals you connect with and the relationships you cultivate will significantly influence the experiences and flows in your life and marriage. A foundational error in many homes today is the lack of awareness regarding who they are truly joined to and what currents are at play in their lives. Some individuals enter covenants and align themselves with others without understanding what burdens they carry. It is important to investigate what lies in the lives of your fiancé or fiancée. Are there issues such as premature death, ancestral curses, or other generational problems present in their lineage?

Whatever challenges exist in a person’s life will inevitably attach themselves to you once you join together.

Consider what is linked to you that may be polluting the flow of your life. Remember, your children can also become victims of these adverse influences. Both husband and wife should feel empowered to sit down together and examine the currents flowing through their ancestral lines. Take the time to draw your family tree, conduct research, and ask questions. Why wait for negative manifestations in your life and marriage before recognizing that they may stem from your ancestry? The sooner you can identify and address these flows, the better positioned the next generation will be to avoid similar challenges. It is your responsibility to uncover these issues and put an end to them. Any unbroken ancestral flows affecting either spouse must be broken, reversed, and revoked for the sake of your family’s future.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, guide me appropriately to join myself to the right personalities. Open my eyes to see negative flows and experiences that are hidden in my ancestry.
