Happy new month! This month, our focus will be on the Names of the Lord. This is one of the major advantages we have been given as believers to profit with on the earth. My goal this month is to supply understanding on the covenant names of the Lord and for you to start walking in the reality of each of them. We will look at how the names of the Lord apply directly to your situations and circumstances. If you will have victory, success, and progress in your life as a Christian, you must know the names of the Lord that pertain to your need and circumstance.
There are some specific names of the Lord that God revealed Himself by in the Bible. They are referred to as the Covenant Names of the Lord or the Redemptive Names of the Lord. They are as follows:
1. Jehovah Jireh
2. Jehovah Nissi
3. Jehovah Rapha
4. Jehovah Shalom
5. Jehovah Tsidkenu
6. Jehovah Rah
7. Jehovah Shammah
The men that walked with God in the Bible did so at the level of the revelation of the name of God that He gave them.
You cannot have a stronger relationship with God than the revelations of His names that you have.
These seven names cover the broad spectrum of human experience, human existence, human needs, and human requirements from birth until death. If you can know His names, understand them very well, call upon them and remember them in your situations and circumstances, you can be sure that God will always show up on the scene.
PRAYER: Father, I pray that you will reveal yourself afresh to me through Your names so that I can develop a stronger relationship with You in Jesus name.
