You can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, find out ways by which your spirit man gets across to you. Sometimes, the Bible refers to your spirit man as the inward man. If you can understand him, he will help you and bail you out of troubles because he is the one that the Holy Spirit indwells and relates with.
For the next three days, I will be showing you how the Holy Spirit relates and communicates with your spirit man.
1. CONSTRAINTS AND RESTRAINTS (Acts 16:7, Job 32:18-20): This is one major way to know that you should or should not do something. It could be a constraint to do something or a restraint not to do something. Constraint is a strong inner pressure to go ahead. Some versions of the Bible render constraint as compel , therefore, it is possible for your spirit man to compel you to do something. Restraint is an equally strong inner pressure not to go ahead.
You get refreshed if you do what the spirit constrains you to do and preserved when you refuse to do what He restrains you from.
2. PERCEPTION (Acts 14:8-10, Mark 2:8): The best way to deal with the spirit of lies is through perception. In Acts chapter 5, Ananias sold a parcel of land and kept the remaining money. Peter became aware of it by perception. Perception is your spirit giving you warning signals so that you can prepare for things ahead. You suffer losses when you ignore divine signals. If you pick up a perception, follow it up and do something about it.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive sensitivity to pick up divine constraints, restraints, and perceptions in Jesus name. I will not be dull of perception in Jesus name. Amen.
