Welcome to 2023! A year that will be filled with the operations and the moves of the Holy Spirit! Your greatest companion this year will be the Holy Spirit and you must develop intimacy with Him. To kick off this year, I want to take you on a journey of developing INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Man was never created to operate alone. A major component of the existence of man that God puts in place at creation is his relationship with Divinity. The fall of man brought a separation between God and man and Jesus came to the earth to mend this broken bridge. When Jesus was leaving the earth, He promised the coming of the third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, as the One to continue that linkage with the Father on earth while He advocates for us before the Father in heaven.
The goal this month is to open the eyes of every child of God to the immense advantage we have in the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life on earth, devoid of the human frailties that came in through the Fall.
We will be exploring the full-fold ministry of the Holy Spirit to the believer as the Comforter in being our Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby (John. 14:16, AMP). Hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, a believer is a formidable force against the kingdom of darkness on earth, invincible as God. This is a good digest for a believer that wants to be all God made him/her for. Why not you?
PRAYER: Lord, I receive a renewed walk and relationship with the Holy Spirit as I step into this year. I receive the operations and manifestations of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen!
