24 November 2022: UNDERSTANDING THE BURDEN OF THE LORD IN INTERCESSION (4) – Matthew 11:28-30; Revelation 12:10

Yesterday, we talked about human burden as the first kind of burden that could come upon a man. Let’s move on to see the second kind of burden today.

Satanic burdens are the second kind of burden. These burdens are demonic attacks that the devil brings against people’s souls to swamp them, so they can be low inside and become ineffective in their walk with God.

A critical tool the devil uses is an accusation. The devil is the accuser of the brethren; his job is to make you unfit before your God.

The devil brings thoughts filled with accusations to believers: “You have done thirteen abortions and you want to have the experience of Isaiah 66:8 that says ‘…for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children’? You are not Zion but a lady who has had too many abortions for God to take her seriously!”

Guilt, doubt, fear, and sorrow are also satanic burdens. Some people become sad for no reason. Any unreasonable sorrow is demonic. Some people have such experiences on special occasions like their birthday or when everybody is happy. It is at these joyous periods you see such people become sad, feel like crying, and isolate themselves. That is the devil! Bind that spirit and run it out of your life. Every unreasonable sorrow, fear, and doubt is demonic. Bind that spirit!

It is the devil that makes a person contemplates suicide. Suicide is a demon that wants to terminate your life before you see the glory of God manifest in your life. You must know the power and the efficacy of the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness and gives us a new beginning, a new life, and a testimony of righteousness before the Lord. You must learn how to resist the devil and he will flee from you (Jam. 4:7).

PRAYER: I take authority over every satanic burden in my life that the devil is using to reduce my effectiveness and sensitivity in the spirit. I declare I am free from every demonic burden in Jesus’ name. Amen!
