The Bible says, “And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets …” It means there must be an apostolic or prophetic flow as a foundation of a ministry. Where there is no apostle, the prophet stands in for the apostle in the flow.
If the Lord is bringing a truth and He releases it, the truth will be too strong for the general members of the Body of Christ to take. The closest ministries in the Spirit that can safely receive that truth to transfer to other members of the Body are the apostolic and prophetic ministries. This is because the calling is like a machine that reaches the spirit and then enters the world.
The devil took over the world when Adam handed it over to him, but God is taking back the world through the ministries of Jesus and the callings.
If there is any place in the world that darkness is reigning supreme, the first thing that God is going to set up there is not a university, but He is going to send a calling there. It is out of the calling that most of the universities that you call fantastic in the world today came out.They had a christain origin.
What we call NGOs today are just the hijack of assignment of individual church members by unbelievers that are smart to collect money from overseas. Every Christian member of a church should have an area of life where they are invading the darkness in this world.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to embrace kingdom structure and pattern so as to be a sound and balanced Christian. Amen.
