The Kingdom of God is a family. Although it spreads all over the world, it’s still a family. God the Father is there as the Head. FATHER-AND-SON UNLIMITED is a kingdom pattern.
This generation does not need more preachers, but we need fathers that have eyes to see where our axe-heads have fallen; fathers that have the voice to call us back to reason and sanity, and to tell us where we are getting it right or wrong.
The Bible is not a western book. It’s a middle-eastern book and one of the things that you see in the middle-eastern world is strong fathering. One of the reasons why the Jewish people are dominant in every sector they get into is that they are still very strong in family values.
The damage that the absence of a father does in the life of a child is beyond measure. It’s not that the fathers in society are dead but some of them have gone missing in action because the operations of their society neutralised them. The way God structured life, there is a place for a father. Joseph represented the authority figure for the young body of Jesus while growing up.
The voice of a father is an invincible voice in the make-up of everyone. If a father spoke the right things to you at the right time when you were a baby growing up, it puts a champion mentality in you. That is what makes the confident and self-assured people in the world.
PRAYER: Abba Father, I receive a deeper understanding to walk correctly with You as a son to a father. I’ll embrace the kingdom fathering process that will qualify me for sonship portions in Jesus’ name. Amen.
