Faith is the ladder that allows you to climb to greater heights in your walk with God. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, and without faith, it is impossible to embrace the fullness of what He has prepared for you.
Faith enables you to believe in the unseen and trust in God’s promises, even when circumstances appear contrary.
Abraham, known as the father of faith, trusted God’s promise of a son despite his old age and Sarah’s barrenness (Genesis 15:5-6). His unwavering faith was credited to him as righteousness, and it became the foundation for God’s covenant with His people. Like Abraham, we are called to trust God even when the evidence seems absent.
Faith grows as you feed it with God’s Word, surround yourself with believers who are full of faith, and take steps of obedience. Challenges may test your faith, but each test is an opportunity to trust God deeper. Remember, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).
When doubts arise, refocus on God’s nature and His faithfulness in the past. Let your faith propel you forward, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.
THOUGHT TO PONDER: What area of your life is God asking you to trust Him more? How can you intentionally build your faith for the journey upward?
PRAYER: Lord, strengthen my faith to trust You fully. Help me believe in Your promises and walk boldly into the higher calling You have for me. Amen.
