When you want to relate with a bank, you first open an account which you continue to service. The same principle applies when dealing with God – you must open a faith account. Before God gives you assignments, He considers your faith account, not your bank account. Begin to deposit words in your word bank. If your word bank crashes, your faith account will close down. Currencies, for example, the Nigerian Naira, can crash, but the word of God cannot crash. Set up a word bank and begin to deposit words from God into it.
You need to ask yourself, “How many words have I received from God in my walk with Him?”
You cannot receive money from a bank that has failed. You can only have a shortage in your life if you have a shortage of the word of God. The word of God substitutes for you what your salary will do normally. If your salary fails, how will your life run? God’s word will connect you to something that will connect you to life. Not everyone that did something wrong deliberately wanted to do it. However, when normal life failed and the pressures came, the devil offered them an alternative that they were not strong enough to reject.
For a child of God, the word of God enlists God’s involvement in your life. So, when there is a shortage of words in your word bank, you deprive your life of God’s involvement. Ensure you don’t have a shortage of the word of God in your life.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive divine enablement to keep my faith account running in Jesus’ name. Amen!
