21 September 2026: DO NOT MOVE AWAY FROM YOUR PLACE OF BLESSING – Psalm 92:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:18

The spirit of displacement specialises in moving people away from the place where God intends their blessing, training and future to happen. It can shift a person geographically, relationally, spiritually or vocationally. Someone may be in the right city, church, assignment or relationship, yet offence, prejudice or impatience begins to push him away. God places anointed people around us not to control our lives or prevent enjoyment, but to preserve us from errors we may not yet recognise. When a person develops resentment towards the anointed voices God has provided, he becomes vulnerable to decisions that can remove him from divine covering and timing. The devil often works to create offence before attempting displacement because he knows that people rarely remain where they have stopped receiving.

God may send a person from one region to serve under someone from another tribe, but prejudice can displace him from the grace meant to shape his destiny. A national service posting, job transfer or unexpected relocation may actually be God’s arrangement to connect a person with the church, mentor, spouse, business opportunity or wisdom required for the future. Yet a fixed idea that one must return immediately to a familiar place can abort the purpose. Many people are continually trying different businesses, ministries and relationships without staying long enough to become established. They are busy everywhere but rooted nowhere. A time must come when you discover what God has called you to do, where He wants you planted and who must sow into your spirit. Activity is not the same as progress, and movement is not always evidence of divine direction.

Settle where God has placed you and invest in the relationships that carry wisdom for your future. There are people you cannot afford to treat casually because something in their spirit is meant to drive your manifestation later. The absence of certain graces may not show immediately, but it will become obvious when life demands what you refused to receive. When relationships of wisdom leave, madness and folly often gain access. Therefore, guard against offence, tribal bias, pride and impulsive movement. Find the church where you should grow, the work you should master, the relationships you should honour and the assignment worthy of your substance. Planting is not imprisonment; it is the condition for fruitfulness. A tree that is continually uprooted cannot develop strong roots. Refuse every pressure that moves you away from divine placement. Stay long enough for the Word, anointing, discipline and wisdom of that place to enter your spirit and prepare you for your appointed time. Your flourishing is connected not only to what you do, but also to where and under whom God has planted you.

Have offence, prejudice or impatience been pushing me away from a place God chose for my growth? Which divine relationship or assignment must I honour more deliberately?

PRAYER

Father, expose every force of displacement around my life. Plant me firmly in the place, relationships and assignment You have chosen for my fruitfulness.
