31 March 2026: THE MERCY SEAT IS STILL OPEN – Numbers 7:89; Isaiah 1:18

As we conclude this subject on the mercy of God, one truth must remain unmistakably clear: mercy is not exhausted, withdrawn, or selective; it is still available. Scripture records that when Moses entered the tabernacle, he heard God’s voice speaking from the mercy seat (Numbers 7:89). That detail is crucial. God did not speak from judgment, wrath, or condemnation; He spoke from mercy. Even under the Old Covenant, mercy was the platform of divine communication. Today, through the blood of Jesus, that mercy seat is not closed; it is fully accessible. God is not waiting to destroy sinners; He is waiting to redeem them. Salvation is the first and greatest expression of mercy God offers to mankind.

Many people misunderstand God’s posture toward them. They imagine Him as angry, distant, or eager to punish. But God Himself invites, “Come now, and let us reason together… though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). That is mercy speaking. Before God fixes circumstances, heals bodies, restores marriages, or changes stories, He first offers salvation. Without salvation, mercy cannot be fully accessed or sustained. You may admire the truths in this book, but until you are born again, you cannot walk in their reality.

Mercy begins with reconciliation; being restored to God through Jesus Christ.

If you are reading this and you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, this is your moment. Mercy has located you. You do not need to clean yourself up first; mercy does the cleansing. You do not need to prove anything; mercy has already paid the price. Salvation is not joining a church, it is receiving a new life. If you desire to be genuinely born again and be sure of your salvation, pray this prayer aloud, meaning it with all your heart:

Prayer of Salvation
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus died for me and shed His blood for my salvation. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with His blood, and make me whole. I forsake the devil, the world, sin, and all sinful habits. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. Thank You, Father, for saving me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, you are now a child of God. You do not need to repeat it again. Your salvation is real, settled, and secure. No dream, feeling, or circumstance can change your status. Welcome to the family of God. We would love to help you grow in this new journey. Please send an email to info@dreamcentre.org, and we will gladly guide you on the next steps.
As this month closes, carry this assurance with you: mercy brought you this far, mercy will keep you, and mercy will finish God’s work in your life. The mercy seat is still open, and it is speaking good things concerning you.

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Have I personally received God’s mercy through salvation? What does it mean for me to live daily as one who has been saved by mercy?

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your mercy that saves, restores, and keeps. Help me to live fully surrendered to You, proclaiming Your mercy all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
