Yesterday, we saw the power of setting righteous laws to obey. We will go a step further today. To qualify for true riches, you must be disciplined. Discipline yourself to be spiritual in the presence of God and it will keep you safe in destiny.
It is time for us to get into our Bible and find out what God is saying.
The old fathers insisted that when you are praying, kneel, and close your eyes. As a married man, make sure that when you are in Church, you know where your wife is seated and that you check the notes of your family members when you get home – you may be surprised that your family members are not following the God that you are following.
Christianity in some certain part of the world has become the joke it is today because the leaders keep allowing these sorts of indiscipline saying, “It does not matter,” and the devil is happy for it. The divorces taking place among Christians in the western world is now more than the ones among unbelievers. First, it started in the world, and then it entered the church.
It has become a battle to develop a spiritual life in the fast-paced tempo of today’s world, and as a Christian serious with destiny, this is a battle you must not lose, or the devil will take your head. Nobody is ahead of you in life by mistake. Whoever is genuinely ahead of you in life, is ahead of you because he is doing something well that you are not doing.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to discipline myself to study and meditate on your word daily in Jesus’ name, Amen!
