God did not plant you on the earth as decoration; He planted you as a witness. Every human being has a circle of influence: people who can hear you without a microphone: your family, your neighbours, your office mates, your customers, your classmates. Stop dreaming of ‘nations’ while you ignore your own street; your first harvest field is your own world. And don’t say, ‘Evangelism is not my gift.’ God will never ask you to do what you find impossible, but He will demand that you do your part. Find a method that suits you and throw in your sickle. But don’t depend on natural respect or familiarity; approach them from the spirit. Start by interceding for them, because only God can open a heart the way He opened Lydia’s (Acts 16:14 KJV). Then be friendly and gain their trust; don’t push – let the person exercise his will. Your lifestyle must preach before your mouth speaks.
Service evangelism is one of the wisest ways to enter a hardened environment. Using your talent to win souls: doing good and serving people with the motive of showing the love of Jesus, opens doors that argument cannot open. Dorcas did good works and alms deeds, and a whole community felt the weight of her life (Acts 9:36 KJV). Sometimes it is as simple as visiting the sick, helping a student, assisting a widow, or showing up with kindness when people are in pain. You disarm suspicion, and people begin to ask, ‘Why are you like this?’ But don’t let your service end as mere philanthropy. If all you produce is ‘they like our church,’ yet they never receive Christ, you have missed it. Don’t preach church: preach Christ and Him crucified.
Let your kindness carry a signature: Jesus loves you, and He can save you.
Today, list ten names in your circle of influence and pray over them daily, then ask God for an opening. Carry simple tools: a short testimony, a tract, a book, and a clear salvation message. When the door opens, press lovingly for a decision for them to receive Christ. If they say yes, lead them to Christ immediately. This is how you multiply yourself in souls: you see your circle as your field, you fight for them in prayer, you love them in service, and you bring them to Jesus.
THOUGHT TO PONDER: Who is inside my circle of influence that I’ve ignored spiritually? What act of service and clear gospel conversation will I initiate this week so that someone can truly receive Christ?
PRIÈRE: Father, open hearts around me. Use my life and service as a bridge to the gospel; give me boldness to lead souls to Jesus and follow up well, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
