Jhe Daniel’s company is not only about going to heaven but also finishing the work to witness about God. Have you been in a situation where you were told that the Christian(s) that came before you messed things up? If you are going to cancel that story, you must do more.
In Judges 7:1-3, the total number of people that came was 32,000, but in the first divine checking, 22,000 people left. The mistake that most people make is to think that a crowd equals correctness. If you find a church where the pastor started preaching a message that is different from what they had been hearing before and 32,000 members reduced to 10,000, won’t you say God has left that church? If you have built a life by doing wrong but you suddenly decide to do right, and every benefit of evil in your life is removed, people will say something is wrong with you.
This is because when God begins to work in your life to get you into this Daniel’s company, some things will drop off your life.
One of the reasons why people fail to move with God is that they want the approval of men, but the approval of men is different from the approval of God. In Judges 7:4, notice the clause, “I will try them for thee there”. It is not only the devil that tries and tests, but God tries us also. The test of the devil is for us to fail, while the test of God is for us to move on to the next level.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to know when I am being tested. Put voices around me to sensitize me to my divine test in Jesus’ name. Amen!
