Your decisions in life are like steering wheels that sets direction and every other thing will follow. If you want your life to go according to God's plan and purpose of God for you, you must ensure always that your decision aligns with the will of God for you. Most people never saw what God intended for them because they made decisions based on what they could see presently which was subject to change. As a child of God on the way to destiny, never base your decisions on anything physical.

The best way to lead yourself wrongly is to make decisions outside the word of God. You will require faith to make decisions based on the word of God. This is because it is not based on anything you can see, touch and feel presently. If you make decisions on the following you will be leading yourself wrongly and you will never experience God's best for your life.

(a) The present. The temptation most believers face is that they flow with the world to make reasonable decision based on the present. Orpha in Ruth 1 made decisions on the present and missed God's best for her life. She went into oblivion and her name was never mentioned again. She was never relevant to God’s programme again. She had an opportunity to become one of God's people but missed it. When you make decisions based on the present, you will miss God. There is more to what God has for your life, than what is presently.

(b) The environment. There may not be anything to prove it physically but when God says that there is going to be abundance of rain, you better be prepared. God controls the environment, the weather condition, heat or cold. They are under the control of the Lord. Watch out for the word of God in your business, your career, etc. God knows what will happen next and this is the advantage you have.
Don’t make decisions again based on these factors mentioned above and it shall be well with you.

Prayer: Lord, help me in the midst of pressure not to make decisions based on physical things. Help me to stay focused on your word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
