If a relationship will bless you, you must seek that God will give you a revelation of that relationship. This will help you not to violate it, but to value it and get the best of God for you in it.
2 Cor. 5: 16 “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more”
The difference between Nabal and Abigail was access to revelation. On the surface, the action of Nabal looks justifiable but there is knowledge and revelation about David being anointed King. Once God has given a revelation about any issue, it is our responsibility to find out what God has said and align ourselves to it. God will hold us responsible for the revelations he gives us. God demands obedience and compliance in line with the revelation He gives. This means that every truth, knowledge and revelation you get brings you into an obligation to be accountable.
Our safety is in the Church where God has located us. The ministries that God has placed in the Church has capacity to receive from Jesus what He has for his Church. The believer is supposed to receive this equipping to do the work of ministry. Then, it is the responsibility of the believer to get the revelation they need from the Church.
Don’t go into a marital relationship until you get a revelation of who your partner is. Safety starts in a relationship when you begin by asking God for the revelation of the relationship. There are people that God will choose to use for you that may not be born again, you are to take the help and not have anything to do with them further. You must not allow the danger in the lives of such people to endanger your life.
Understand the difference between the tool that God will use and the choice of God. You are God’s choice and He will use so many people and things as tools. Lack of this understanding could make people lose offers, opportunities, lives and favor.
Prayer: Lord, I receive the baptism of the spirit of knowledge, revelation and understanding to come into the divine doing of the Lord through relationships; I ask for the restoration of every opportunity I have missed in times of ignorance and blindness to your purpose in Jesus’ name. Amen.
