The major role of every worshipper is to minister unto God. The first recipient of your worship must be God. We are all called to minister unto God. In fact, the Bible says God is looking for true worshippers. John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” To give God an acceptable worship, you must sanctify yourself. To sanctify means to separate from something unto something else. You must repent of all violations you have committed and let God work upon your heart. When God sees such heart, He will come and meet you.
What made David so special that God could give such Psalms through his heart? David was not an angel, he was a man like you and me. If God could use David, He can use me and you. Let God find your heart usable. It's your heart that matters to God. Whatever you do, let your heart be right. God keeps cultivating your heart and you must put your heart in a kind of condition that you can access God. He is looking for men that are broken– not damaged, but broken and melted. Read Pslam 141:5 (AMP); you are only excellent in the place of worship to the degree that you have received correction and adjustment. Moses was a mighty man in Egypt for forty years. Then God took him to the desert for forty years of making him nothing before He used him for another forty years as His prophet. Ask God to let your heart be right before Him.
PRAYER: Lord, purify my heart, let it be as gold and precious silver. My heart’s desire is to be holy and set apart for You Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen!
