In life, there are moments when God places an opportunity before a believer and asks a simple question: “Will you believe Me?” At such moments, the issue is not whether the believer has the resources or the full explanation. The real issue is whether he has faith in God’s ability. Many people miss divine opportunities because they assume they must first possess everything needed before they can respond. But God often invites His children to step forward in faith before the provision becomes visible. When a believer responds with faith in such moments, it attracts God’s intervention. Jesus emphasised this truth when He said, “All things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

Throughout the Bible, we see that faith often precedes God’s miraculous intervention. Abraham followed God without knowing the full details of where he was going (Genesis 12:1). Peter stepped onto the water because he trusted the word of Jesus (Matthew 14:29). In each case, the step of faith created the opportunity for God’s power to be revealed. Faith does not deny the presence of challenges, but it refuses to allow those challenges to determine the final outcome. Instead, faith places confidence in God’s ability to accomplish what seems impossible to human understanding. When believers respond with such confidence, they position themselves to experience God’s power in extraordinary ways.

Many believers pray for God to move in their lives but hesitate when the moment of faith arrives. Yet the movement of God’s hand is often connected to the willingness of His children to believe Him beyond natural limitations. Faith acknowledges that while human ability may be limited, God’s power is unlimited. Jesus declared, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). When believers embrace this truth and respond with confidence in God’s ability, they invite divine involvement into their circumstances. Acts that demonstrate such faith consistently move the hand of God and open doors that human effort alone could never unlock.

THOUGHT TO PONDER

When opportunities arise, do I respond with faith or hesitation? What step of faith might God be inviting me to take today?

PRAYER

Father, strengthen my confidence in Your ability to do the impossible. Help me respond to opportunities with faith so that my life continually reflects trust in Your power, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR

Judges 2:10-3:31, Luke 22:14-34, Psalm 92:1-93:5, Proverbs 14:1-2

[1
476
post-8158","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized","tag-devotional
["GET
