M<\/span>arriage does not only affect you: it shapes the generations that come after you. Ezra warned Israel, \u201cGive not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons\u2026 that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever\u201d (Ezra 9:12). Malachi adds, \u201cAnd wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed\u201d (Malachi 2:15). This means marriage is a seedbed for inheritance. A wrong marriage may not fully stop you from fulfilling your call, but it can severely cripple your children\u2019s ability to continue in that call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have seen children of great ministers lose all appetite for God because their parents\u2019 marriage brought them under a polluted atmosphere. The father might still preach, the mother might still pray, but the generational seed is weakened. A wrong partner brings strange spirits into the home, and those spirits fight the destiny of the children. Satan knows that if he can\u2019t fully derail you, he can still steal your inheritance through your offspring. That is why he fights to contaminate marriage at the foundation. Many who thought they could manage their choice later realised their children bore the brunt of that error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practically, don\u2019t gamble with destiny in marriage.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Brothers, don\u2019t marry a woman who despises spiritual things, no matter how beautiful she is. Sisters, don\u2019t tie your life to a man who rejects God\u2019s purpose, no matter how wealthy he looks. Your union is a gate through which either covenant blessings or strange attacks will pass to your children. If you are married already, refuse to accept defeat: rise in prayer to preserve a godly seed. Teach your children consecration, create a home atmosphere of faith, and fight off every satanic invasion. God\u2019s plan is that your marriage becomes a channel of generational inheritance, not a snare of generational loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Am I choosing marriage with my children\u2019s destiny in view? Am I ensuring my home is a platform for raising a godly seed and not a polluted one?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
