O<\/span>ne of the major traps the devil sets for believers is impatience. The Bible says, \u201cThey that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles\u201d (Isaiah 40:31). Waiting is not punishment; it is preparation. Yet many young men and women, afraid of being left behind, run into wrong marriages simply because \u201ctime is going.\u201d Destiny is not measured by the ticking of the clock but by the unfolding of God\u2019s will. A wrong partner chosen in haste can waste ten years of your life in regret. The pressure from family, friends, or culture may be loud, but none of them will live in your marriage. Do not let their voices hurry you into a snare. God is not late; He is deliberate. The waiting season is His surgery table where He cuts away immaturity, pride, and wrong motives so you can carry the weight of destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have seen people who called their delay a curse, only to discover later it was God\u2019s mercy shielding them from destruction. Lamentations 3:25\u201326 declares, \u201cThe LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.\u201d Patience is not weakness; it is strength under restraint. When you learn to wait on God, you build the capacity to withstand storms after marriage. Many marriages collapse not because the devil was too strong but because the partners were too shallow. They rushed into the union with excitement but no stamina. You cannot microwave destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cake that is rushed out of the oven will collapse. The same is true of a man or woman not fully baked in God\u2019s process.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Practical wisdom: (1)<\/strong> Redeem your waiting season: pray, build skill, grow character. Don\u2019t just count the years; make the years count. (2)<\/strong> Shut out pressure. When men push you against God\u2019s will, tell them: \u201cDestiny is heavier than timing.\u201d (3)<\/strong> Stay in fellowship; God reveals His will clearer in the fellowship of His people than in isolation. (4)<\/strong> Stop comparing yourself with others. Your friend\u2019s timing is not your timetable. The God who joined them yesterday has reserved your portion for the right season. (5)<\/strong> Trust God\u2019s calendar; when it comes, His provision will match His timing. I decree: you will not miss your time. You will not bow to human pressure and marry against God\u2019s will. The Lord will crown your patience with a testimony that makes mockers silent.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Am I allowing pressure from people or circumstances to push me into haste? Do I truly see waiting on God as His preparation for destiny or as punishment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PRI\u00c8RE:<\/strong> Lord, deliver me from the trap of impatience and help me to value waiting on You as Your preparation for a glorious destiny.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\t\t
