T<\/span>he story of Sarah is one of the most powerful examples of confidence in prayer. At ninety years old, every medical and natural possibility of childbearing had closed. Yet the Bible records, \u201cThrough faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised\u201d (Hebrews 11:11). Notice that her miracle did not rest on her body or her condition but on her judgment of God\u2019s faithfulness. She shifted her gaze from her weakness to His unchanging character, and that was the turning point. God does not expect you to generate power out of nothing; He only asks you to judge Him faithful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many believers lose confidence because they misplace the focus. They look at their performance, fasting, or zeal and assume those are the anchors. Others collapse under the weight of delay and conclude that maybe God has forgotten them. But Scripture insists, \u201cLet us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)\u201d (Hebrews 10:23). The strength of your prayer life is not in how loud you shout but in how convinced you are of God\u2019s faithfulness. If He has spoken, He is bound by His own nature to fulfil it. The devil\u2019s strategy is to magnify the impossibility before you so that you doubt God\u2019s faithfulness, but your victory is to keep saying, \u201cMy God cannot lie, and He will not fail me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, learn to anchor your confidence where it cannot be shaken\u2014His character.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Situations may change, friends may disappoint, and even your feelings may fluctuate, but God remains faithful. Stand on His promises with boldness. Keep confessing His word even when the contrary screams at you. Sarah\u2019s laughter of unbelief turned into laughter of joy because she refused to remain on the ground of doubt. Judge Him faithful today and you will see your testimony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Do I measure God by my circumstances or by His faithfulness? Have I truly judged Him faithful, no matter how long it takes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
