T<\/span>he Lord wants you to grow in confidence so deeply rooted in His sufficiency that the wealth of ungodly men neither moves you nor appeals to you. Abraham declared boldly to the king of Sodom, \u201cI have lifted up mine hand unto the LORD\u2026\u201d He knew who truly owned everything. Throughout Scripture, no man who set his heart on what God did not give\u2014what was forbidden or corrupted\u2014ever made it. Achan didn\u2019t. Saul didn\u2019t. Gehazi didn\u2019t. But Abraham did, because he understood what to reject and what to honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Naaman visited Elisha, the prophet rejected his gifts. That single act turned Naaman\u2019s heart towards God. He took soil from Israel to build an altar back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, refusing a gift unlocks a person\u2019s deeper spiritual journey.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

But Gehazi couldn’t discern this. Driven by greed, he lied to Naaman, collected the goods, and returned to Elisha pretending nothing happened. Elisha asked, \u201cWhence comest thou?\u201d and he lied again. That\u2019s the slippery slope: when you lie, you will steal; when you steal, you open the door to further moral decay. That\u2019s how a man begins to compromise everything\u2014money, integrity, and even another man\u2019s wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, God blesses people in a way that leaves them obligated only to Him. He doesn\u2019t want you inserting yourself as a middleman in that transaction. Don\u2019t collect what God asked you to leave alone. Don\u2019t insert yourself where God is sealing a covenant. May you never become a partaker of another man\u2019s divine process\u2014and may no polluted gift cancel the blessing God has planned for your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Am I content with only what God is giving me, or do I press for things that could cancel my divine portion? Have I unknowingly stepped into what God asked me to walk away from?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Lord, deliver me from every root of Gehazi\u2019s syndrome. I will not chase what You have not assigned to me, in Jesus\u2019 name. Amen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\t\t
