Y<\/span>ou cannot have an account in a bank where you did not open an account. Opening an account is the first thing you must do to have access to a bank\u2019s services. In Christianity, being born again is equivalent to opening a spiritual bank account. At salvation, you automatically open an account with heaven. Jesus becomes your guarantor, and the account is activated for your withdrawals. The beauty of this account is that Jesus Christ is the one who credits it for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, you will be cheating yourself if you do not discover what He has credited to your account by failing to read your Bible.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

If you do not study the Bible and you go to a church where they preach everything but the Bible, you will be living as if no account was opened for you. You will be living as though nothing is available to you when (in reality), everything is available. If you have a Bible and do not open it to read, you are like me who, when I just got born again, would open my Bible to Psalm 91 and put it under my pillow. It never worked. I would go to sleep terrified and wake up afraid because I did not know the content of the Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carrying a Bible with you while travelling will not save you from an accident. Wearing a cross around your neck will not save you from trouble. When Jesus died on the cross, He resurrected and left. He does not want you to keep hanging Him around your neck on a cross. What will save you from trouble is your understanding of the Word and putting that Word in your mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Do you truly know what Jesus credited into your spiritual account? How will you practically access these blessings from today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PRAYER: Lord, help me overcome ignorance and to actively confess Your Word daily. In Jesus\u2019 name, Amen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\t\t
