Proverbs 13:20 clearly states, \u201cHe that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.\u201d Your inner circle\u2014the people closest to you\u2014shapes your character, mindset, and effectiveness more than you might realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I often tell people that your closest relationships either sharpen you spiritually or dull your spiritual sensitivity. Paul warns us, \u201cBe not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners\u201d (1 Corinthians 15:33).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is crucial to carefully select your inner circle, ensuring it consists of those who inspire you toward godliness and spiritual discipline.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Do not forget the principle: spiritual effectiveness thrives in the soil of Godly relationships. Even Jesus carefully selected those who walked closely with Him, investing His time primarily in those who were genuinely committed to the Father\u2019s purpose. His inner circle eventually became foundational to His mission and legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluate the relationships closest to you today. Are your friends and companions drawing you closer to God\u2019s purpose or distracting you from it? Cultivate relationships that sharpen your spiritual edge and support your journey toward greater spiritual effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Are your closest relationships enhancing or hindering your spiritual growth? How can you intentionally cultivate friendships that strengthen your walk with God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
