E<\/span>very believer is designed to live primarily through the spirit. Unfortunately, many Christians live predominantly by their physical senses, neglecting the spirit man. To walk in God\u2019s power and purpose, you must learn to live from your spirit rather than your senses. Your spirit, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is your guide into God’s will. You hear people say, \u2018use your brain\u2019, as a Christian, you should use your spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebrews 5:14 says, \u201cBut strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.\u201d God expects your spiritual senses to be developed and sharpened through consistent practice and use. The more you live from your spirit, the more clearly you will perceive His guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Living by your spirit also means discerning between good and evil beyond mere outward appearances. Your spirit has an inner witness that guides and protects you from deception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you listen carefully to your spirit\u2019s promptings, you avoid mistakes, and make decisions that align with God\u2019s purpose for your life.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Make it your daily discipline to invest in spiritual growth\u2014study the Word consistently, spend quality time in prayer, and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. This spiritual discipline strengthens your inner man, empowers you for effective ministry, and positions you to fulfil your destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Are you living primarily by your physical senses or your spirit? How can you become more sensitive to your spirit\u2019s inner witness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PRAYER: Father, teach me to live consistently by my spirit rather than my physical senses. Increase my spiritual sensitivity so that I can follow Your guidance faithfully. In Jesus\u2019 name, Amen.
