W<\/span>hat makes God\u2019s people distinct in a world striving for success and recognition? It is His presence. Moses recognised this truth and declared, \u201cFor wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest with us?\u201d (Exodus 33:16). The presence of God is what sets His children apart and makes them shine as lights in a dark world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus reminds us that we are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. This light is not our own\u2014it emanates from the presence of God within us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we walk in alignment with His Spirit, our lives naturally reflect His glory, drawing others to Him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Being set apart by God\u2019s presence means living counter to the world\u2019s standards. It means choosing integrity over compromise, love over indifference, and faith over fear. These choices are not always easy, but the presence of God empowers us to stand firm and shine brightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joseph\u2019s life is a testimony of being set apart by God\u2019s presence. Even as a slave in Potiphar\u2019s house, his integrity and diligence were evident because \u201cthe LORD was with Joseph\u201d (Genesis 39:2-3). This distinction brought favour, not only to Joseph but also to those around him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THOUGHT TO PONDER:<\/strong> Are you allowing God\u2019s presence to set you apart as a light in the world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for setting me apart through Your presence. Help me to walk in Your light and reflect Your glory in all I do. May my life be a testimony of Your grace and goodness. In Jesus\u2019 name, Amen.
