E<\/span>very upward movement comes with a cost. To come up higher, you must be willing to sacrifice comfort, ease, and even relationships. Jesus made it clear that following Him requires counting the cost and carrying your cross (Luke 14:28-30).<\/p>\n

Higher living demands a commitment to God\u2019s will over your own desires.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This may involve waking up earlier to pray, saying no to distractions, or stepping into unfamiliar roles that stretch your faith. Jesus said, \u201cIf any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me\u201d (Matthew 16:24). The cost may seem great, but the reward is far greater\u2014eternal life and a closer walk with Him.<\/p>\n

Reflect on areas where God is calling you to surrender more. What habits or priorities need to shift to align with His purpose? True discipleship is marked by a willingness to sacrifice temporary comfort for eternal reward.<\/p>\n
