Every member of the Body of Christ is given grace. This grace empowers us to do things with ease that would otherwise be impossible. Marriage is one of those things\u2014it is not something we can navigate naturally on our own. But when we operate under God\u2019s grace, it brings divine ease, joy, and fulfilment into our marriage.<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s scripture, I want you to focus on the words “joined and knit together.” Picture a carpenter masterfully joining two pieces of wood so perfectly that you can’t even tell where the connection is. This is what marriage is\u2014a divine joining, not just a partnership. When couples view marriage as a mere partnership, they will constantly face problems and frustrations. However, when they embrace the truth that marriage is a joining, they begin to understand the depth of what God intended.<\/p>\n

It is far better not to marry than to marry without a true understanding of its purpose and responsibilities.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If you are not willing to submit to the principles of marriage, you may find yourself more successful as a single person than in a union where God\u2019s design is not honoured.<\/p>\n

True harmony in marriage comes when each person knows and accepts their God-given role. Never settle for compromise in your marriage\u2014compromise is demonic and leads to division. What God requires in marriage is agreement, and for agreement to happen, there must be clear leadership and willing submission. Only then can a marriage thrive and reflect the unity and purpose that God intended from the beginning.<\/p>\n
