Y<\/span>esterday, we saw prosperity as a spiritual force. The question worth thinking about is this: why did Potiphar choose Joseph out of the slaves that were in the market the day he was bought? That is the power of preference. Joseph carried the spirit of prosperity such that Potiphar\u2019s wife even preferred him above her husband.<\/span><\/p>\n

When a man carries the spirit of prosperity, it draws favour towards him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

David carried that spirit; when four hundred men that were in debt, in distress and discontent banded themselves together under David, in the space of few years, their lives were turned around, and they became giant killers. But these same men had been under King Saul and were nobodies. You can have a title without carrying the spirit. You do not have to be the top shot, but you can call all the shots.<\/p>\n

God did not plan that anybody should operate in ministry without carrying the spirit of prosperity, as this will negate all the programmes of God for His people. One of the signs that God has called a man to be a founder is that this spirit will be one of the major spirits operating in his life. Paul carried it. Paul said in 2 Cor 6:10b, “… as poor yet making many rich…<\/em>“<\/p>\n

When a man carries the spirit of prosperity, his life carries a smell and a signal of good. He has the mindset that whatever unpleasant situation he is going through is temporal; \u201cThis is not my destination, something better is still ahead of me.\u201d<\/p>\n
