S<\/span>ometimes when you look at the life of David, you wonder why God liked him; this is the secret of David, he was a man after God’s own heart. The man whose heart is after God’s own heart will be touched by whatever touches God, what moves God will also move him. You must find out the things that touch God’s heart and sincerely ask yourself, “Do the same things touch my heart?”<\/p>\n

At some levels in ministry, it is so easy that your position becomes more important to you than the feelings of God. At this point, you may slip into the error of King Saul. In 1 Sam 15:20-24 Saul against the instruction of God, spared Agag and the spoils that were meant for destruction. By that act of disobedience and rebellion, he lost the factor that made him a man after the heart of God.<\/p>\n

We must remain men that are after God’s heart.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What is in God’s heart, and what affects God’s heart must affect us. If we are like that, God is going to work with us. In fact, the highest things of the kingdom are only given to those that He can trust. I want you to look at another man; Eleazar, the son of Aaron. His heart was after the Lord and that secured him a divine commitment of God eternally.<\/p>\n

PRAYER: Lord, help me to cultivate the heart that is after your heart and that is moved by what moves your heart.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\t\t
