L<\/span>ook at the woman with the alabaster box of ointment in Mark 14:3-9. That woman was a notorious prostitute in the town that Jesus visited, and she came with an alabaster box, a one-year salary worth of ointment, and broke it on Jesus. The Bible says the ointment and its smell filled the whole room. And Judas said, \u201cWhy this waste of perfume? This thing could have been sold and given to the poor.\u201d Now, that\u2019s a religious spirit.<\/p>\n

Judas said that because he was the one that held the purse and he had been stealing from the money. It would have increased the money that he would have stolen but Jesus said, \u201cWhat this woman has done will be spoken of everywhere this Gospel is preached (like you are reading it now) in honour of that woman for she has come beforehand to come and prepare my body for burial.\u201d That was what God put that thing in her hand for and she did it. She was not the only prostitute in town or the only one with an alabaster box of ointment in her day.<\/p>\n

You must understand the difference between your assignment and your job.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is possible for God to give you three major assignments. When a man of God is called, God gave him three assignments: to take the healing power to his generation; to build a university for Him; and a third mandate. He preached thousands of sermons but those are the three major things. He could preach all the sermons in the world and refuse to build that university. The assignment is what God supports, gives you life for, and protects you over. You must do it for Him.<\/p>\n

PRAYER: Lord, show me the primary assignment(s) that I am to fulfil in life, and I receive grace to fill the circle of my destiny in Jesus\u2019 name. Amen!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\t\t
