je<\/span>n Hebrews 11:1 there are two things that reveals the practicality of faith: the evidence of things hoped for, and substance of things not seen. The evidence and substance will come through a process. Process means a continuous set of actions performed intentionally in order to obtain a particular set of results. Let\u2019s look at the keywords in this definition.<\/p>\n

1. CONTINUOUS: Rom. 10:17 says, \u201cFaith comes by hearing\u2026\u201d. You don\u2019t finish hearing when it comes to faith; you don\u2019t ever get to a level of \u201cALL FAITH ACQUIRED\u201d and then cease from hearing.<\/p>\n

\n

Faith stops coming when the hearing of faith stops. One can backslide in faith (Hebrews 2:1).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

2. SET: The process comprises of a chain of events. It becomes ugly when a step is missing. For complete impact and beauty, all the events must happen. For example, willingness without obedience or obedience without willingness will not result in eating the good (Isaiah 1:19).<\/p>\n

3. ACTIONS: Your faith require actions, not wishes. Doing something, acting it out, acting upon the word of God. Peter walking on water was an action of faith (Matthew 14:22-29).<\/p>\n

4. PERFORM – Carry it out openly, don\u2019t just desire or intend to do it. Jesus spoke to the fig tree openly (Mark 11:14).<\/p>\n

5. INTENTIONAL \u2013 Be intentional about your faith. Don\u2019t wait till you feel like. It has nothing to do with emotions or waiting for the prompting of the Holy Spirit. You initiate faith; and start it deliberately (Mark 2:1-5).<\/p>\n

6. IN ORDER TO: There is a goal to be accomplished by all the actions (Hebrews 12:2).<\/p>\n

7. RESULTS: This is the endpoint. Faith result is different from natural results in situations of life. Faith result has its origin in God and cannot be overruled or hindered by the devil; it cannot be tampered with and it is permanent. The life of faith involves a lot but the result is worth all the process!<\/p>\n
