T<\/span>oday, we will start off on the last covenant name of the Lord that we will be considering – Jehovah Shammah: The Lord that is there. Ezekiel 48:35 describes the city of God; The phrase written as ‘The Lord is there’ is translated in Hebrew as Jehovah Shammah.<\/p>\n

The name Jehovah Shammah is so crucial because right from the very first day that God put man on the earth, He has desired to dwell with His people. The Bible reveals three progressions in the covenant name: Jehovah Shammah as follows: first, as the manifestation of the name of the Lord; second, God’s desire to dwell with His people; third, to manifest His presence and bless the people of God.<\/p>\n

‘God for His people’ is the first manifestation, and this is found in God the Father’s relationship with the nation of Israel. The Bible says God was for Israel and that is the first manifestation of Jehovah Shammah – God for His people. The Bible has a lot to say about Jehovah for us. Romans 8:31 captures it very well.<\/p>\n

If God is for you, you can be assured that no situation in life can go against you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In the Old Testament, God was for the people of Israel, and they won battles upon battles. That is one of the reasons why you need to have a strong relationship with God so that your children and children s children can enjoy the benefit of your walk with God today.<\/p>\n
