N<\/span>ow let us look at action steps that activate the manifestation of Jehovah Rapha. Our text above outlines five practices that are prerequisites if we will enjoy the manifestation of Jehovah Rapha in our lives.<\/p>\n

1. Practice Thought Control: The first thing He said is that you should attend to my words. Don’t just allow your mind to think about anything it likes. The devil enters the lives of people through their minds and many times through suggestions; that is the primary way the devil destroys people. Don’t let the devil interpret news for you. There is a difference between the news and the interpretation of the news. If you feel pain in your body, the devil wants to interpret that pain for you and tell you it is cancer. Don’t let the devil do that because it is a lie of the devil, and you can rebuke that pain.<\/p>\n

2. Practice Selective Hearing: He further says incline thine ears unto my saying.<\/p>\n

You can’t be listening to everything and be successful on the face of the earth.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Bible says, “go away from the presence of a man when you don’t perceive in him the lips of knowledge.” Prov. 14:7. Some people are only a bringer of unwelcome news. Every time they show up, they are going to tell you something bad: Did you hear this thing that happened? The Bible says in Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” That is a kingdom principle. Faith and fear are fed and sustained by information. Where are you getting your information? Take advantage of Good News that comes to you on radio, television, and the internet. Faith comes by hearing, so you must practice selective hearing. Choose what you are going to hear.<\/p>\n

PRAYER: Father, I ask for the grace to control my thoughts and to practice selective hearing in Jesus’ name.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\t\t
