je<\/span>n the past two days, we have established that God reveals Himself, His intentions, His purpose, and His plans to His people through His names with which He relates with us. When the children of Israel found themselves as captives of Pharaoh in Egypt, God came to Moses and revealed Himself to Moses as Jehovah the covenant-keeping, the covenant-cutting, the covenant-remembering God. He didn’t reveal Himself to Abraham like that because Abraham did not need to prove that covenant, but the children of Israel needed to prove it like that.<\/p>\n

The Bible is full of various names of the Lord that cover various situations and circumstances that God’s people can find themselves. Still, those situations defeat many children of God because they forget the name of the Lord in their crises.<\/p>\n

In our Scripture today, David was going to fight because Nabal rebuked those men that went in David’s name and David took it as a personal insult, how much more when you are going in the name of the Lord.<\/p>\n

When you call the name of the Lord, God becomes personally implicated and personally involved. That is why calling the name of the Lord brings salvation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Lord can’t change; He remains the same forever. The Lord is not limitable, and when you are doing anything in His name, you have access to all of His resources. I encourage you, start your day with the name of Jesus, and start your business in the name of Jesus. Do everything in the name of Jesus, and you will be glad you did.<\/p>\n

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I make a fresh commitment today to bring the name of Jesus into everything I do from now on and I will experience the personal visitation of Jehovah on all matters pertaining to me in Jesus’ name.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\t\t
