A<\/span>owadays, you see many that have taken their lives from the Holy Ghost. Sometimes you don\u2019t know the difference between a Christian and an unbeliever in their cravings after things in the world. But Christians are supposed to listen to God\u2019s counsel. We are a people with a leader. Don\u2019t follow people who are following their brains and their intelligence.<\/p>\n

Some people go to God saying, \u201cOh God, talk to me\u201d, but God will reply, \u201cYou are deceiving yourself, you can\u2019t deceive Me\u201d. In our text, the idol Ezekiel speaks of here is not a shrine, but the idol of your (personal) opinion. They have already planned what they\u2019re going to do.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re ever going to get God to talk to you, tell God what is in your heart already.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is better for you to say, \u201cLord, this is what I want to do. This is what I\u2019m thinking; I want you to guide me.\u201d You see, trying to say there\u2019s nothing in your heart is like the little child that goes to his father with biscuits and the father says give me that biscuit and he hides the biscuit on top of his head, and responds to his father, \u201cI can\u2019t give you.\u201d<\/p>\n

You must understand that God is looking straight into your heart. He knows exactly what you\u2019re thinking. He knows the decisions you\u2019ve made in your heart regardless of what anybody says. If you\u2019re going to get divine direction from the Lord, it is better for you to come plain with what is in your heart already.<\/p>\n
