G<\/span>od planned a particular kind of life for the born-again person to live, but it doesn\u2019t just drop on him\/her like oranges. It comes as we take the paths that He wants us to take and do the work that He wants us to do.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the word \u201cleading\u201d means God doesn\u2019t trust our intelligence because if He did, He won\u2019t say the Holy Ghost will come and guide us into all truth (John 16:13). As Christians, God does not trust the human being to lead himself. He didn\u2019t create a world in which man will live without a need for God.<\/p>\n

Rather, man was deliberately created with a need for God.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Many people have made wrong marital choices simply because they felt they knew what was best for them. It is also common to find natural fathers who sometimes think they know the best kind of wife\/husband their children need. Many people feel they know what is best for you, but only God knows what is best for you and me. He created us, He designed us and knows what is best for us.<\/p>\n

This requires humility. Humility is simply submitting to the wisdom of God, aligning yourself with the truth that God is wiser than you, submitting to the choice of God that God knows what is best for you. Whenever you say, \u201cNo! I know what\u2019s best for me, I\u2019m not going to do that\u2026,\u201d you are not humble.<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit is our leader, and if we listen to Him, our lives will reflect the fact that we\u2019re following Him.<\/p>\n
