T<\/span>he devil has succeeded over time in causing the children of God to deny themselves access to the great experiences through the ministry of the Comforter (John 14:26).<\/p>\n

When the Bible refers to Him as the Comforter, it is not talking of a ‘consoler’, like people that come to visit someone in mourning. The word for ‘comforter’ in the Bible is the Greek word ‘endunamon’ which means ’empowerment’. It is the same word that is used for a military general who is rallying his soldiers before they go to war and challenging them saying, ‘You can beat them, now, go there and beat the nonsense out of them.’<\/p>\n

The Holy Ghost as a Comforter goes beyond that of a pacifier saying, “Sorry.’ That is not the kind of comfort the Holy Spirit offers. Even when everything is breaking down around you, He is the person who remains strong and keeps telling you that there is a way out. The force of the Holy Ghost is what people behold in the life of a child of God that just leaves them stumped – unable to explain where his strength is coming from.<\/p>\n

When people have broken your spirit and you feel like giving up, He comes and begins to remind you of who you are, of what is available to you and of what is working for you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is important because sometimes the devil is going to talk to you in such a way that you may feel like giving up. Allow Him liberty to minister to you and enjoy the bliss it brings.<\/p>\n
