W<\/span>henever you write a letter that you intend to post, one thing you do not fail to do is address the envelope, which defines exactly where you want the letter to go. This enables the postman to drop your letter at the intended destination. It is the same with prayer. Your prayer must be addressed to the One (God) who can answer it.<\/p>\n Discussing a problem with someone or going through counselling is not the same as praying. Weeping or crying does not equal praying either. Truly, God sees your desperate situation, mannerisms, and pain, but He won t assume that you want Him to intervene. God will ask you exactly what you want Him to do and if you want Him to be involved. You may even religiously say, God sees what I am going through, why is He not doing something ? Jesus didn’t assume that the blind man wanted to be healed (Luke 18:41).<\/p>\n God does not assume that you want Him to be involved or do anything until you address your prayer (not your complaint) to Him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Every time you pray, let your prayer be addressed to God, your Father. Jesus said, When ye pray, say, Our Father (Luke 11:2) . Our Father is the address that every prayer God will hear must carry. Stop praying into the atmosphere and stop praying to men who cannot help or answer your prayer. Address your prayer to God.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I ask that You come and take pre-eminence in my life’s situations and circumstances. I will not be stranded in Jesus name.
