je<\/span>n Acts 2:4, notice that the Holy Ghost just gave the disciples what to say, but they spoke in tongues themselves. The Holy Ghost never violates your will and takes you over. Only demons work like that. If you don\u2019t speak out as an act of faith, no language will come forth. Don\u2019t let the devil tell you that you are making it up. Remember that YOU DON\u2019T SPEAK IN TONGUES TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT BUT YOU SPEAK IN TONGUES BECAUSE YOU ARE BAPTISED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t wait for anything to seize your tongue. Simply ask God for the Holy Spirit, believe that He heard you, and then speak out the language that God gives you. The Holy Spirit will ensure that what to say comes when you lift your tongue to speak.<\/p>\n

\n

Don\u2019t wait for some special sign, feelings, or visions. It is quite dangerous to wait for such because it may or may not come.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The 120 disciples in the Upper Room had tongues of fire on their heads when they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The household of Cornelius did not have such a manifestation, yet they both received the same Holy Spirit. The only common experience was the tongues spoken out.<\/p>\n

Moreover, it would not be acting in faith to be expecting a special sign before you believe you have been baptised in the Holy Ghost. Remember that faith is the evidence of the unseen realities of God (Heb. 11:1). The Holy Spirit is not a feeling but a Person. Whether you feel like He is there or not does not make any difference, but let the Word of God be true to you.<\/p>\n
