So, if godliness is to continue on the earth, God expects parents to raise godly seeds after themselves. Curses will perpetuate generationally when parents tolerate their children who are not following the ways of the Lord. God wants a godly seed from every marriage; a holy seed that will continue the programme of God on earth.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Therefore, it is the responsibility of Christian parents to teach their children in the ways of the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><br \/>Proverbs 22:6 says, \u201cTrain up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t depend on elementary school teachers to help you teach your children. They will only teach them about academics and morals except when those schools have children&#8217;s ministry, and those are very few. Don\u2019t depend on children&#8217;s church teachers to teach your children. It is your responsibility as a father or as a mother to teach your children the ways of the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>The best way to teach your child the way of the Lord is to live in God\u2019s way in their presence, not just by telling them. You must practise what you preach. No matter how much you teach them the Bible, if your children don\u2019t see you practically living out the life of God at home, they will not walk in the ways of the Lord. They may go to church, but they will only become churchy and not love or follow God.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-simple\">\n<p><strong>PRI\u00c8RE:<\/strong> Father, I will not raise children after worldliness but after Your divine counsel in Jesus\u2019 name.
