T<\/span>he first component of the will of God is the divine purpose. Let us look at what discovery of divine purpose will do for you.<\/p>\n

1. DISCOVERY OF DIVINE PURPOSE TRANSFORMS YOU
In Matthew 16, we see two sides of the coin of discovery of purpose. The first side is that the discovery of your purpose transforms you. When you discover your purpose, it will transform you.\u00a0When you discover the purpose of the person you are living with, it will transform your relationship with that person.<\/p>\n

Married couples should labour to discover the purpose of God for their spouses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

2. DISCOVERY OF DIVINE PURPOSE PRESERVES YOU
The divine purpose will preserve you from sin. It will affect your choices and decisions in life positively. To know how the discovery of divine purpose will preserve you from sin, you need to look at the life of Joseph. That young man discovered the purpose of God at the early age of seventeen and that understanding preserved him (Gen. 37, 39-42).<\/p>\n

3. DISCOVERY OF DIVINE PURPOSE WILL AFFECT YOUR CHOICES
Your choices and decisions in life will determine what you become or don\u2019t become eventually. Before you make a choice, you are the master of whatever you want to choose. However, as soon as you make that choice, it will become your master and control you. Therefore, you need to be careful as you make your choices in life.<\/p>\n
