Romans 8:28 says that we are called according to God\u2019s purpose. God has made some choices on our behalf, you have to accept those choices concerning you; don\u2019t fight them. Let me explain this further; if you are an elementary school teacher and you get born-again in a particular church, it does not mean that God has called you to be in the children\u2019s department in that church. Find out what His purpose for you is. You are not called according to the course you read in school. You are not called according to your gender. You are not called according to your education. You are not called according to your colour. We are not called according to natural things; we are called according to His purpose.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The only way that Jesus is going to be the firstborn in truth among many brethren and we are going to be His brethren, in reality, is not in the physical sense. It is in the fullness of our calling. Although we were born by the same father, we don\u2019t physically look alike, but we must fully resemble Him in three areas: power, authority and character.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When we talk of power, we are talking of the gifts of the Spirit. When we talk of authority, we are talking of calling and the anointing; and when we talk of character, we are talking of the fruit of the Spirit. God is redeeming us to walk in the fullness of these three. When we resemble Jesus in power, authority and character, the scripture \u201c\u2026to be conformed to the image of his Son\u2026.\u201d Rom 8:29 (KJV) is going to be fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-simple\">\n<p><strong>PRI\u00c8RE:<\/strong> Father, I thank you that I am called according to your purpose.
